Blue Ute Tub Trailer Restoration

I bought this trailer for next to nothing and then afterwards I found out the ute tub was off of a Toyota LC70 Landcruiser, which are quite rare here in Australia. So I felt I had a duty to restore it well.

I had to put a few patches in the bed because of rust holes.

 

This piece of bodywork was so rusted I had to cut it off and make a new one.

The front bottom corner was very rusted, I basically had to cut it out and rebuild it.

I still have this trailer and it's proving to be very useful.

Red Trailer Restoration

This is the trailer that started it all for me, a good friend of mine gave it to me. I learned an awful lot in restoring it.

In the end I got it registered and sold it for a small profit, but the most valuable thing I got from this trailer was definitely the experience.
